Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club Ltd. on the gaming floor leads frontline service and supports club operations, including responsible gambling duties and compliance oversight.

You will train staff, uphold service standards, and assist in managing functions and events while collaborating with the broader leadership team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience.
• 3+ years in the club industry or similar.
• Current RSA, RCG & ARCG certification.
• Experience managing RGO responsibilities, including reporting and escalation.
• Strong knowledge of the Registered Clubs Act and WHS legislation.
• High standards of personal presentation and communication.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based predominantly on the gaming floor, with responsibilities that extend into relieving in the Duty Manager role as part of our broader leadership team.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining service standards, leading front-line staff, and supporting club-wide operations. Importantly, you will also oversee Responsible Gambling (RGO) duties, including monitoring patron welfare, managing RGO logs and escalations, and ensuring all activity aligns with compliance obligations.

What We're Looking For

You're a self-starter who can motivate yourself and others. You're confident making decisions, solving problems, and working both independently and as part of a team.

To be considered, you’ll need to demonstrate:

In-depth knowledge of bar and gaming operations, with a focus on compliance and customer care

Experience managing RGO responsibilities, including reporting and escalation

Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the club industry or similar

Previous Duty Manager experience (highly regarded)

Experience supporting Functions and Events operations (preferred)

High standards of personal presentation

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Well-developed rapport with members and staff

Sound understanding of club operations and the Registered Clubs Act

Intermediate knowledge of the Registered and Licensed Club Award 2020

Familiarity with WHS legislation and compliance responsibilities

Ability to apply club policies and procedures consistently (RSA, RCG, harassment, bullying, discrimination, etc.)

Current RSA, RCG & ARCG certification
