Job summary

Central Hotel in Blacktown is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff, and ensure guests have a warm, memorable experience.

The role covers bar and gaming services, compliance, rostering and staff training, with RSA/RCG required and ARCG to be completed within six weeks.

The Role:

As Duty Manager, you will be a pivotal part of our team, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, and ensuring our patrons enjoy a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Your key responsibilities will include managing bar and gaming services, coordinating the team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily hotel operations with a focus on the gaming floor.

Lead and support a team to maintain high service standards.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Oversee cash handling, gaming operations, and compliance.

Uphold and enforce safety, health, and gaming regulations.

Oversee the bar, ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.

Maintain strong relationships with customers and team members, fostering a positive and welcoming environment.

Assist in rostering, staff management, and training.

Uphold high standards of service and cleanliness throughout the hotel.

What We’re Looking For:

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Previous experience in a duty management role within the hospitality industry advantageous, but not necessary.

Gaming experience.

Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Must hold RSA and RCG certification. ARCG will need to be obtained within 6 weeks of employment.
