Job summary

Monash University Caulfield campus invites an experienced AV/IT technician to join the eSolutions team. You will provide front-line support for campus AV systems, diagnose issues, log tickets in Remedy, and help maintain learning spaces across multiple campuses during teaching periods.

The role offers a full-time rotating schedule (1 pm–9 pm), a competitive HEW Level 05 package with generous superannuation, and the chance to work in a world-ranked university committed to innovation and work-life

Qualifications

• Experience with AV systems (displays, control systems, audio processing) and standard desktop hardware/software.
• Customer service focus with ability to meet deadlines in a campus environment.
• Strong analytical and fault-finding skills with proactive problem solving.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent hands-on industry experience (ITIL Foundation preferred).
• Must hold WWCC and a current Australian driver's license; travel between campuses required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support for AV and IT issues in teaching, meeting, and event spaces across campus.
• Act as a trusted expert for academic staff, professional teams, and students using campus AV systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs for AV control systems and conferencing gear (Teams/Zoom Rooms).
• Log and manage service tickets in Remedy and contribute to service improvements.
• Collaborate with the eSolutions team to deliver seamless IT/AV operations.
