Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a technically minded Account Manager for a global packaging solutions provider in Sydney, NSW. You will manage customer relationships, provide field-based technical support, and help drive product adoption across distributor networks.

Responsibilities include site visits, product trials, training, CRM updates and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve growth objectives. Travel to customer sites is required.

The Successful Applicant

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, technical support or business development within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, packaging or related sectors.
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical equipment issues.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging customers, distributors and stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage a territory, prioritise site visits and work autonomously.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
• Holds a valid driver's licence and is comfortable travelling regularly to customer and distributor sites.
