Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Account Manager for a world-leading sustainable packaging business based in Australia. You will drive growth by managing distributor and end-user accounts, providing technical support, delivering training, and identifying opportunities to expand product adoption.

The role involves site visits, CRM management, and close collaboration with stakeholders to achieve business growth. A valid driver’s licence and regular travel to customer sites are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, customer service, or technical support within industrial, manufacturing, packaging or related sectors.
• Mechanically minded with problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging customers and distributors.
• Self-motivated, organised, able to manage a territory and travel regularly.
• Commercially aware with proactive approach to growing existing accounts.
• Holds a valid driver’s licence and is comfortable travelling regularly to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and servicing of packaging equipment across customer and distributor sites.
• Develop strong relationships with distributors and end users, delivering product training and ongoing support.
• Conduct site visits, installations and product trials to ensure customers maximise value of packaging systems.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase product adoption within the customer base.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor equipment performance and manage spare parts availability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customised packaging projects and grow the business objectives.
