Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc seeks an experienced on-site IT Field Services specialist to support desktop, network, and infrastructure devices. You will act as the local hands-and-eyes for remote teams, perform basic troubleshooting, imaging, and VIP on-site support during business hours and planned activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Smart Hands, Field Services, Desktop Support, or related IT support role.
• Basic knowledge of network technologies (switches, routers, WLAN), server hardware, EUC devices.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Office, remote support tools, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow or equivalent.
• Understanding of Incident, Service Request, Change, Asset, and Problem Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident resolution and service request fulfillment in line with SLAs.
• Provide hands-and-eyes support for network, server, telecommunications, and infrastructure devices under remote guidance.
• Assist remote teams with basic troubleshooting, health checks, connectivity verification, device status validation, and physical inspections.
• Support IMACD activities for approved IT assets and infrastructure devices for laptop/desktop within Daas scope.
• Provide VIP on-site support for desk-side issues per contract and be the primary local contact if other IT support is unavailable.
• Ensure desktops have correct images and standard software supported throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Service Desk and resolver groups to ensure timely incident resolution and service restoration.
• Contribute to service quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with local technology projects requiring on-site IT presence.
• Adhere to IT security, safety, compliance, confidentiality, ITAR, and Export Control requirements.
