Job summary

Planet is seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to drive ecommerce revenue in Austria and the DACH region. You will build pipelines, win new merchants, and identify opportunities for Planet’s growth products, collaborating with marketing, SDRs, and product teams.

Fluent German and English are required, with 3+ years in business development and a strong ecommerce/payments background. The role offers a hybrid work model in Austria.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development experience.
• Existing network in the Austrian and wider DACH payment landscape.
• Strong ecommerce background.
• Experience in payments, SaaS, digital commerce, marketplaces, or fintech.
• Proven hunter mentality.
• Excellent prospecting and networking skills.
• Commercially driven with strong closing capabilities.
• Fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of ecommerce opportunities.
• Win new merchants across target verticals.
• Identify opportunities for Planet's ecommerce and growth products.
