Job summary

ISG Personalmanagement GmbH is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Balkan region (Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania). The role is full-time with remote elements and requires significant travel to drive growth in engineered valve solutions for the energy industry.

You will develop distributors, manage agents, and push portfolio selling while building strong customer relationships, identifying key problems, and delivering against annual sales targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• University degree or technical/commercial education.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical and sales environment in control valves.
• Engineers with flow control and valve applications experience welcome.
• Travel willingness around 80% in the Balkan region.
• Fluent in English; additional Balkan languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within and outside assigned responsibilities.
• Manage and develop agents and distributors across the region.
• Drive portfolio selling of engineered industrial products.
• Activate dormant plants and replace competitor products in installed base.
• Build customer relationships and identify key problems.
• Visit customers regularly to drive sales (3–4 days/week).
• Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.
• Achieve budget targets and KPIs.
