ISG Personalmanagement GmbH is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Balkan region (Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania). The role is full-time with remote elements and requires significant travel to drive growth in engineered valve solutions for the energy industry.

You will develop distributors, manage agents, and push portfolio selling while building strong customer relationships, identifying key problems, and delivering against annual sales targets and KPIs.

Competenze

• University degree or technical/commercial education.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical and sales environment in control valves.
• Engineers with flow control and valve applications experience welcome.
• Travel willingness around 80% in the Balkan region.
• Fluent in English; additional Balkan languages a plus.

• Develop and grow business within and outside assigned responsibilities.

For the Balkan region (Serbia / Greece / Bulgaria / Romania) we are looking for an Area Sales Manager with excellent communication skills!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow business within and outside assigned responsibilities
• Manage and develop agents and distributors across the region
• Drive portfolio selling of engineered industrial products and solutions
• Activate dormant industrial plants and drive replacement of competitor products in installed base
• Build strong customer intimacy and identify meaningful customer problems
• Support Sales growth through regular customer visits (min. 3 - 4 days per week on the road)
• Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures
• Achieve budget targets and Sales KPIs as agreed annually
• Drive long-term market development and sustainable growth

Your Profile:

• Technical or commercial educational background (University degree preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Technical and Sales environment in the field of control valves
• Engineers with experience in flow control and valve applications; even those without previous direct sales experience are welcome
• Candidates with relevant experience from neighbouring countries are also very welcome
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel (about 80 % in the Balkan region)
• Fluent in English, additional languages like Serbo-Croatian, Romanian, Bulgarian is a plus
• Strong commercial mindset combined with technical understanding
