Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and build strong operator relationships to demonstrate service value and differentiation.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure service quality, pursue cross-sell opportunities, and support tenders and renewals, delivering value to major operators and drill contractors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data, drilling KPIs and performance drivers.
• Experience with operators in shale basins and selling technically complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Building relationships with operators and drilling contractors; delivering technical presentations.
• Collaborating across operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identifying cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Supporting tenders, commercial models and contract renewals for long-term business.
