Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and engage operators with technical depth and value-driven proposals.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service excellence, pursue cross-sell opportunities across drilling products, and uphold HSE standards while growing long-term business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization experience.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical info to commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analysis.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and CRM data.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE and Baker Hughes standards.
