Baker Hughes in Argentina is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin to drive growth, manage the full sales cycle, and deliver value through technical sales and disciplined commercial execution.

You will build relationships with major operators, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate complex drilling data into actionable commercial strategies, while ensuring safety and quality standards across all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in Directional Drilling or related fields.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication to translate technical information into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Build relationships with operators like YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
