Job summary

Coderoad is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to drive technical SEO for a portfolio of higher education marketing accounts. You will identify issues, write developer-ready specs, and ensure fixes go live. The role also focuses on building Claude-based tools and workflows that automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production.

You’ll work with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, owning technical readiness for AI search and scalable systems. Fully remote, compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and driving fixes.
Clear written communication to write specs and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
Write dev-ready specs and follow through until fixes are released.
Handle light WordPress implementation (titles, meta, redirects, schema).
Monitor GSC and GA4 for drops and indexing issues.
Develop AI-ready readiness for AEO/GEO and scale SEO services.
