Job summary

Agileengine, Llc. is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to oversee technical SEO across a portfolio of higher-education clients. You’ll implement audits, write developer-ready specs, and drive fixes, while building Claude-based tools to streamline audits and reporting.

You will help clients improve visibility in traditional and AI-driven search, monitor performance in Search Console and GA4, and scale the SEO service with reusable systems. Fully remote, compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
Proven track record uncovering high-impact issues and fixing them.
Hands-on experience with tools and platforms listed above across multiple sites.
Ability to write specs developers can act on and explain to clients clearly.
Strong written and verbal communication across many accounts.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts and audits.
Write developer-ready specs and drive fixes to live/verify.
Handle WordPress titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema via Yoast or Rank Math.
Monitor Search Console and GA4 for drops, errors, indexing problems.
Own AI search readiness for AEO/GEO with structured data and content structure.
Build scalable SEO systems and Claude-based tools for audits and QA.
Develop content production workflows turning briefs into near-publish drafts.
Document systems, train the team, and measure time saved or results improved.
Support client success and join calls for deep technical topics.
Evaluate emerging search tech and advise on new tools/processes.
