Job summary

Connections Education Llc seeks a Technical SEO Lead to own the technical SEO strategy across a portfolio of higher education-focused partner accounts. You will identify issues, write specs for developers, and drive fixes to improve visibility in traditional search, answer engines, and AI-driven search.

Fully remote role with compensation based on experience. You will build Claude-based tools and workflows to reduce auditing time, QA, and content production, while collaborating with the SEO Lead

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Agency experience or multi-site management.
• Hands-on with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge for specs and fixes.
• Advanced Claude experience building AI-assisted workflows.
• Clear written communication for specs and client guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and defend impact-heavy issues.
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, core web vitals, redirects, and broken links.
• Write developer-ready specs and track fixes until verification.
• Handle light WordPress changes including titles, meta, redirects, and schema.
• Monitor GSC and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems early.
• Design Claude-based tools and workflows to automate audits and QA.
• Build scalable SEO processes and content production systems.
• Document systems, train the team, and measure time savings.
