Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer in Córdoba, Argentina, to join the Data Platform team. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities in an AWS-first cloud environment.

The role blends platform engineering with data infrastructure and emphasizes CI/CD, Terraform, and data tooling. You’ll build and maintain AWS Glue/ETL pipelines, manage infrastructure, and improve observability for data products.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data eng exposure.
• Deep AWS expertise (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Hands-on with Terraform and/or AWS CDK for prod cloud environments.
• Strong CI/CD experience across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ETL jobs and data workflows.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC.
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts for data pipelines.
• Develop DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Operate container infra and workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow).
• Lead incident response and mentor junior engineers.
