Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation and delivering data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain AWS-first cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling that empower data engineers to ship high-quality data products safely. Collaboration with data scientists and security teams is essential.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional DevOps/platform engineering or site reliability engineering experience, with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform and/or AWS CDK) for managing production cloud environments.
• Strong CI/CD experience designing and maintaining pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
• Strong communication skills to translate operational concerns into clear engineering trade-offs.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infrastructure.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
• Own the observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts to ensure SLA compliance and fast incident response.
• Develop data platform tooling, templates, and libraries for rapid production-grade pipelines.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and mentor junior engineers.
