Proofpoint in Cordoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. This hybrid role blends platform engineering with data infrastructure to own the reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You’ll build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling, enabling data teams to ship high-quality data products faster.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform/SRE with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Experience with Glue ETL, Athena workgroups, and S3 lifecycle management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and Athena views.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and templates for data engineers.
• Manage container/infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Operate workflow orchestration environments (MWAA / Airflow / Step Functions).
• Build and maintain Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale ingestion.
• Enforce security best practices across data platform.
