Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning the reliability, automation, and delivery of the systems powering data pipelines and analytics.

You will build and maintain AWS-first cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to help data engineers ship high-quality data products faster and safely.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on data engineering work.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop and maintain the DataOps platform and self-service tooling.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure for data ingestion microservices.
• Design and operate workflow orchestration environments (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs for data ingestion and transformation.
• Drive security practices across the data platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and security teams.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.
