Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to help data teams ship high-quality data products faster and safer, while designing data workflows with AWS

Competenze

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.
At least 2 years of hands-on data engineering work.
Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
Strong CI/CD experience and container orchestration knowledge.
Strong communication skills to translate operational concerns for diverse audiences.

Mansioni

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform and/or CDK).
Own the observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts to ensure SLA compliance.
Develop and maintain self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
Mentor junior engineers and lead incident response for data platform outages.
