Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. You will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities in a cloud-first environment.

You will design CI/CD, manage AWS-based infrastructure, and contribute to data workflows with Glue, Athena, and S3, focusing on operability, security, and developer experience. Collaborate with data scientists and security teams and mentor junior engineers.

Competenze

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE.
• Hands-on data engineering experience (>=2 years).
• Deep AWS expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Terraform and/or CDK for IaC.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
• Observability: metrics, logs, tracing, alerting.
