Proofpoint is seeking a DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of systems that power our data pipelines and analytics.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling enabling data teams to ship high-quality data products faster and more safely.

Competenze

• 2+ years of DevOps/platform engineering or SRE, with hands-on data engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AWS services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle/encryption.
• IaC tools: Terraform and/or AWS CDK for production environments.
• Strong CI/CD experience across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
• Own observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, or Lambda) for data ingestion microservices.
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with data engineers/scientists and security teams to design scalable, automated infra solutions.
