Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure—you will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of the systems that power Proofpoint's data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain the cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling that enable data engineering teams to ship

Competenze

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with 2+ years in data engineering.
• Deep AWS core services expertise.
• Hands-on with Terraform or CDK.
• CI/CD pipelines experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Mansioni

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated data workloads.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure via IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Lead incident response and post-mortems for data platform outages.
• Mentor junior engineers and review architecture decisions.
