Proofpoint Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivery of the systems powering our data pipelines and analytics.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS‑first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to enable data engineers to ship high‑quality data products faster and more safely, collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and security teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tooling.
• Experience building observability into data pipelines and platforms.

Mansioni

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infrastructure.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and/or CDK.
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates for production use.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Kubernetes).
• Design and operate orchestration environments (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Lead incident response and post‑mortem improvements for data platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
