Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. Hybrid role at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure, you will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of the systems that power Proofpoint's data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain the cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling that enable data engineering teams to ship high-quality data products

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, and S3 lifecycle/encryption.
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform and/or AWS CDK for production clouds.
• Strong CI/CD experience across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalents.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of AWS Glue ETL jobs and Athena views.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts for SLA compliance.
• Develop DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates for data engineers.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and mentor junior engineers.
