Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in Córdoba, Argentina. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure; you will own reliability, automation, and delivery of systems powering data pipelines and analytics.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to data orchestration with Glue, Athena, and S3.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering with data engineering exposure.
• Deep AWS core services expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
• Hands-on with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3 data lake management.
• IaC using Terraform and/or AWS CDK; strong CI/CD experience.
• Container tech (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and data infra.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CDK.
• Own observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts for data pipelines.
• Develop DataOps self-service tooling and reusable templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and post-mortems.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture decisions.
