Proofpoint in Cordoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to own data platform reliability and automation. You will build cloud infrastructure on AWS, manage CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to data pipelines using Glue, Athena, and S3.

This hybrid role combines platform engineering with data operations to improve speed, security, and developer experience. You will design and operate the observability stack, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security and data teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or site reliability engineering.
• Deep AWS core services experience: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch.
• Hands-on Terraform and/or AWS CDK for IaC.
• Strong CI/CD design and maintenance experience.
• Observability design for data and platform services; good communication.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infra.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure (IaC, services, security).
• Own observability stack with metrics, logs, alerts for SLA.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and templates.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems for data platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
