Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role sits in Cordoba, Argentina, and focuses on reliability, automation, and data-pipeline delivery, building cloud infrastructure (AWS-first) and CI/CD pipelines to empower data teams.

You will work with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, drive observability, security, and scalable data engineering practices while collaborating with data scientists and security teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data engineering experience.
• Deep AWS expertise (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Hands-on Terraform or AWS CDK; CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/K8s).

Mansioni

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL and Athena.
• Build and manage AWS-based data infrastructure with IaC.
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts for data pipelines.
• Lead incident response and drive post-mortems for outages.
• Mentor junior engineers in DevOps and data engineering.
