Proofpoint seeks a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to own the reliability and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities. You’ll build cloud infrastructure on AWS, craft CI/CD for Glue/Athena, and run observability to ensure SLA compliance at scale.

You’ll collaborate with data, security, and platform teams, mentoring juniors and driving improvements across the Data Platform. Hybrid role in Córdoba, Argentina.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, and S3 data pipelines.
• Proficiency with IaC tools-Terraform and/or AWS CDK—for production cloud environments.
• Strong CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS or Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of data infrastructure.
• Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or CDK.
• Own observability: metrics, logs, and alerts for data pipelines and platform services.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
• Mentor engineers and participate in code/design reviews; lead incident response for data platforms.
