Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina, is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data engineers.

You will work with AWS Glue, Athena, S3, MWAA/Airflow, Terraform or CDK, and container systems, driving observability, security, and cost-conscious

Competenze

5+ years of professional DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE experience, with at least 2 years in data engineering.
Deep AWS expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager.
Proficient in IaC with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
Proven ability to design observability for data and platform services.

Mansioni

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infrastructure.
Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC.
Own the observability stack with metrics, logs, and alerts.
Develop DataOps platform self-service tooling and templates.
Manage container and compute infrastructure for data ingestion services.
Design and operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow).
Build and maintain Glue ETL jobs (PySpark).
Drive security practices across the data platform.
Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and security teams.
Lead incident response for data platform outages.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
