WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team, supporting licensing decisions, compliance and optimization across Latin America and related regions. The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of various licensing models and strong collaboration with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requests, and adapt between publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interpreting licensing information.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with regional/global collaboration capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and contribute to process improvements.
