Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage licensing across a large software portfolio in Latin America and international regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to support accurate licensing decisions, renewals, compliance, and optimization.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.

Responsibilities

Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
