Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage licensing across a large software portfolio in Latin America and beyond. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to ensure compliant, optimized licensing and timely service delivery.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge across models, and fluency in English and Spanish to partner with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience and software licensing knowledge.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and adapt to diverse publisher requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing information.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and cost efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors on licensing needs.
