AgileEngine in Argentina is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery SME to serve as the platform authority for a large-scale Discovery environment. This role requires deep infrastructure knowledge across Linux, Windows, and networking, and a track record of transforming runbooks into structured workflows.

You will assess MID Servers and discovery patterns, translate operational procedures into repeatable workflows, and contribute to data quality and observability using modern tools like Prometheus,

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with hands-on ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience developing or modifying ServiceNow Discovery Patterns and Probes and understanding how infrastructure attributes are discovered.
• Experience with CMDB/CSDM, CIs, identification/reconciliation, relationships, and CMDB data quality.
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure engineering with Linux, Windows Server, compute, virtualization/cloud infrastructure, authentication, processes/services.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously assess the health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem including MID Servers, discovery schedules, and ECC Queue performance.
• Convert runbooks and troubleshooting procedures into structured workflows to empower the engineering team.
• Collect and interpret metrics from ServiceNow Discovery and monitoring tools to drive improvements.
• Investigate complex infrastructure attributes to ensure data quality and successful discovery execution.
