AgileEngine is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery SME to serve as the platform authority for a large-scale Discovery environment. You’ll assess MID Servers, discovery schedules, and runbooks, translating operations into structured workflows.

You’ll collaborate with the engineering team to improve data quality, metrics, and discovery coverage, applying Linux/Windows networking expertise and modern observability skills.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering, with hands-on ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers.
• Experience developing or modifying Discovery Patterns and Probes; CMDB data quality.
• Infrastructure engineering knowledge: Linux, Windows, compute, virtualization/cloud.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, SSH, WMI/WinRM, SNMP, HTTP/S.
• Observability experience with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously assess health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem, including MID Servers and discovery schedules.
• Translate runbooks into structured workflows to enable engineering automation.
• Collect and interpret metrics and telemetry to drive engineering improvements.
• Investigate complex infrastructure attributes to ensure data quality and successful discovery.
