AgileEngine is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery SME to lead platform and infrastructure authority for a large Discovery environment. You will assess MID Servers, discovery schedules, and data quality, translating runbooks into structured workflows for engineering efficiency.

The role requires deep infrastructure knowledge across Linux, Windows, and networking, plus hands-on experience with CMDB/CSDM and observability tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with hands-on ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience developing or modifying Discovery Patterns and Probes and understanding how infrastructure attributes are discovered.
• Experience with CMDB/CSDM, CIs, identification/reconciliation, relationships, and CMDB data quality.
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure Engineering with Linux, Windows Server, compute, virtualization/cloud infrastructure, authentication, processes/services.
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, ports, SSH) and common troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously assess the health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem, including MID Servers and discovery schedules.
• Translate runbooks into structured workflows to enable the engineering team and reduce manual investigation.
• Collect and interpret metrics from ServiceNow Discovery and monitoring platforms to drive improvements.
• Investigate infrastructure attributes and relationships to ensure data quality and successful discovery.
