AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to engineer, automate, and manage robust data ingestion workflows within an Enterprise Service Management team. You will work with Python, Snowflake, OpenTelemetry, and SQL to ensure end-to-end data quality and observability.

Responsibilities include building reliable integrations with ServiceNow, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and maintaining data integrity across pipelines while collaborating with global teams and leading brands.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to engineer, automate, and manage robust data ingestion workflows within an Enterprise Service Management team, ensuring seamless integration with downstream systems including ServiceNow. You will leverage Python for workflow development, Snowflake for data storage and optimization, OpenTelemetry for observability, and strong SQL skills for data manipulation and validation across end-to-end pipelines.

What you will do

• Engineer, automate, and manage robust workflows that ingest data.
• Ensure data pipelines integrate seamlessly with downstream systems.
• Build and maintain reliable integrations with ServiceNow.
• Leverage Snowflake and OpenTelemetry to optimize data flow and system observability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks or failures within automated data pipelines.
• Implement data validation checks and maintain data integrity across all workflows.

Must haves

• 4+ years of backend development experience using Python.
• Experience building data ingestion workflows and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and OpenTelemetry.
• Proven ability to build integrations with ServiceNow.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.

Nice to haves

• Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster).
• Familiarity with ITSM best practices and ITIL frameworks.
