Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across our fintech platforms. You’ll build robust automation, contribute to test strategy, and ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.

Role requires hands-on automation, strong manual testing, and experience with AI-assisted QA tools. Remote-friendly with collaboration across product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with desktop/web/mobile test automation tools (Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium).
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real iOS/Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
