Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while handling manual testing as needed. You will collaborate with product and developers to ensure testability, reliability, and high-quality releases across global teams.

Qualifications

4+ years in a software quality assurance role.
3+ years of automated testing experience.
Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data/environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes; work with developers on testability.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
