Job summary

We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications at Tether. You will build and maintain robust test automation for critical user flows and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable releases.

Responsibilities include identifying test gaps, reporting defects, collaborating with developers and product teams, and applying AI tools to QA where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset and QA ownership.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt and harness engineering.
• Agentic quality engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manual testing to validate accuracy against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Document feature behavior and test results.
• Record pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Identify risks to product quality and processes.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC and releases.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Assist in effort refinement and estimation.
• Use GitHub to manage automation repositories and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
