Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across our products. The role combines strong automation with practical manual and exploratory testing to ensure robust software releases.

Responsibilities include building test automation, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with developers on testability. Remote, international team, with emphasis on AI-powered QA tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
