Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and implement robust automated tests for desktop and mobile apps. The role emphasizes owning both automation and manual testing, with a strong focus on testability, reliability, and fast feedback in a distributed team.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, extend our in-house testing frameworks, and drive quality across platforms while leveraging AI-assisted testing tools to improve coverage and efficiency.

Qualificações

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web, WebdriverIO for web, and Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
