Responsibilities

• Define vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in early breeding.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and rapid, decision-ready evidence.
• Shape enabling technology agenda across breeding, genomics, phenotyping, analytics.
• Lead adoption to embed new practices across crops and regions at scale.
• Define metrics for acceleration: cycle time, genetic gain, cost, adoption.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to the Capability Center and focus areas.
• Lead Global Breeding strategies and align with the Long-Range Plan.
• Engage universities to attract talent and position Bayer as a destination.
• Join L3 leadership units to connect acceleration with business goals.
