Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the vision, strategy, and multi-year plan for accelerating research across the early breeding pipeline. You will lead cross-functional teams to improve learning speed, evidence quality, and cycle times, translating insights into faster product delivery for growers globally.

You will shape technology initiatives across genomics, phenotyping, predictive analytics, and digital workflows, while guiding adoption and change

Qualifications

Requires PhD or MS in plant/animal breeding, quantitative genetics, data science, or related field.
Strong knowledge of breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, and quantitative genetics with proven impact.
Ability to collaborate across regions and functions to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the breeding pipeline.
Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence-based decisions.
Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding and analytics.
Lead adoption strategies to embed new practices across crops and regions.
Own the impact metrics and report on cycle time, genetic gain, and cost.
Provide strategic product knowledge to the Capability Center and align with LRP goals.
