Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, and quantitative genetics.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across regions and functions.
• Demonstrated VACC leadership attributes in Capability Center.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the breeding pipeline.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, and analytics.
• Lead adoption strategy and change management to embed new practices.
• Own impact metrics for cycle time, genetic gain, cost, and adoption.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to the Capability Center.
• Contribute to Global Breeding strategies and Long-Range Plan.
• Engage universities to guide future talent development.
• Connect research acceleration with downstream product and supply decisions.
• Foster HS&E, Compliance, DEI, and human rights across the Capability Hub.
