Job summary

Bayer seeks a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and lead the vision, strategy, and multi-year plan for accelerating research and impact across the early breeding pipeline, delivering faster, higher-quality products to growers and customers worldwide.

You will partner with the Capability Center and global Crop Science teams, guiding innovation adoption and ensuring alignment with the Long-Range Plan while engaging universities to attract future talent.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies and genomics.
• Collaborates across regions and functions with KPI-driven impact.
• Demonstrates VACC leadership attributes per Bayer values.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across breeding and analytics.
• Lead adoption strategy and change management across crops/regions.
• Define metrics for acceleration value and report outcomes.
• Provide knowledge to Capability Center and contribute to LRP.
