Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automation and manual testing across desktop and mobile applications. You will write robust regression scripts, validate features, and ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in QA automation, experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and hands-on testing of modern frameworks like Playwright and WebDriver-based tools. Join a fast-paced, global team delivering Fortune 500 scale products.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
3+ years of experience in automated testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mindset focused on holistic quality.
Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
