Job summary

AgileEngine seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and accompany manual testing. You will build and maintain critical regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and work with developers to improve testability.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, strong Playwright/WebdriverIO/Appium experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing. Flexible remote/office options are available, with a global, diverse team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO+Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, incl. iOS/Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Run smoke, regression, integration, performance tests to ensure proper behavior.
• Record detailed feature behavior and pass/fail conditions.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
