AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to build and maintain automated tests for desktop and mobile apps, and to perform manual validation across the SDLC. You'll integrate tests into CI/CD, identify flaky tests, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure quality.

The role requires 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO, or similar tools. Remote-friendly with flexible schedules and global teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software QA required.
• 3+ years in automated testing required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building agentic quality engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Log pass/fail and link to bugs.
• Identify risks to quality.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams for feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimation.
• Maintain automation repos using GitHub.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
