AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and web applications. You’ll build regression suites, participate in CI/CD, and ensure testability with developers. Remote-friendly, with flexible flextime and opportunities for growth across a global team.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, experience with Playwright/Jest, and a focus on quality. Strong communication and testing across environments are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation based on criteria.
• Run smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Record pass/fail criteria and link to bugs.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Work with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in planning and estimation.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotations.
